Anybody seen the Max Payne movie?
Not what I was expecting, really. I'm a bit disappointed, having played both "Max Payne" and "The Fall of Max Payne," I think it could have followed the game line a little more accurately, and there should have been more action sequences and good gun battles, seeing as how the game was a 1st person shooter. I liked the narration in the game, which was absent in the movie, as were some of the characters, substituted with new people who weren't in either game.
I'm not convinced Mark Wahlberg was the right fit for Max either, but idk...
What does everybody else think?

Yeah someone posted on it when it came out gave it the  too.
Another video game with promise turned into a torrential downpour of ****.
Doom, Wing Commander, Starship Troopers...the list goes on.

What kills me is that given the right freedoms, writers and director some video games would make KILLER movies.
Silent Hill was *OK*..I'd give it a C- for effort, but Resident Evil I gave all 3 a collective F.
Doom, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil - 3 great horror games that should have absolutely MORTIFIED audiences.
They should have the guy who did 23 Days Later do a Fallout movie.

I think it just came out last week, or maybe the week before. I just saw it this week. It caught me by surprise initially too, though. I first saw previews for it only about maybe two weeks before I saw it.

^ #3 FTW. So very true.
And by the scene at the end of the credits, do you mean the slow-mo Bullet-Time-esque weapon discharge sequence? That was pretty neat actually.
