Anybody with an OBD2 scanner?

My Miata, which I just bought, threw a code...

I think I may know what it is, but I want to be sure before I start purchasing parts.

I just need someone to pull the code and I can grab you lunch.

Thanks!

My bad.

In Fremont.

Also, I tried calling autozone, but supposedly there's a law against auto stores pulling codes in CA. Something about auto shops lobbying against it, because it's considered a "repair".

My shops in Campbell if you're in the area. I can pull the code for you if something closer doesn't work out.

Really? When I was shopping around for a code reader, PepBoys simply offered to read it for me for free. This was about a month ago.

Pepboys have a service center so they can do it, but autozone/oreilly just sell parts

Just seeing this now as I was headed down to Subiefest, but did you get that OBDII? I have one; I'm in SJ and wouldn't mind meeting you.
