My buddy talked to Gary at Mann a while back who said it's less about the length of the piping, and more about the diameter. Huge flashy pipes lag like crazy, but smaller diameter pipes won't be so bad.
Of course, if you're running a huge turbo, the likelihood there will be significant lag is already up there.

Do you have data showing the inefficiency of the hood scoop to cool the TMIC at speeds and if so what was the comparison to besides that of a FMIC where we know that it will get more air?

So what your saying is, if his scoop functioned better he could make more HP due to better air flow like that of a FMIC where it gets Tons of Air when at speed?

what about things that help isolate the heat, lower the under hood temps or ways to redirect the hot air from the Tmic. Like say a turbo blanket under a heat shield along with wrapping the DP and wrapping the up? Im not sure how well the reflective tape on the sides and underside of the TMIC are too.

Do you know if the hoodscoop is not pulling in air?

This is where the tuna is getting his info from.
