Awesome man!!!! I will keep posting and we can figure out a day and time it will work out. Sounds good.

rcracing.com? Is it a club?

I was just saying we could just go find a great spot to go goof off but if you know of some tracks even better. ntc3 and losi xxx-s are those onroad or off road?

rcracing.com is basically a site for pretty much all of the R/C racing action in the Bay Area.

Bump for a somewhat old thread...

I should be picking up a Revo 3.3 today... any tips for me? Did it require any "hop ups" to get it realiable, or are you still running stock?

I have, and occasionally run, an RC10GT but I'm not really in to racing, more into bashing for sh*ts and giggles, hence the Revo purchase. Anyone know of any good bashing grounds (read not a race track) in the East Bay/Antioch area?

thats why i started this thread. Im not for the racing either im just for goofin off. I live in concord and i know of a few places to go bash around at. Would you be down for a meet like this in the near future?

I am going out to santa cruz with my dad this weekend. He is bringing his baja 5B. That thing rips in the sand. It could be a good spot i will check it out and let you guys know. Also frisco beach is cool too. Over by the cliff house. All along the sunset.

Nope, I did however change to a pullstart right away. I HATE the electric start and it adds a lot of weight in the back. Ditch it, it's so easy just to screw on a pullstart on the back of the motor. In stock form the thing is a beast.

I added the HCR Ti Skids/bumpers on the bottom and they just make it slower/jump less high. I never had and A arms or bulks break on this model. The Tmaxx was horrible, at least they made up for it with this model.

There is a track @ the Antioch Fairgrounds indoor (covered roof) and an outdoor track by the hobby shop outh there. I used to race there. Call Delta RC for info.

Once I pick it up, I'd be down for a meet, time allowing of coarse.

STiYLIN,

Delta RC is actually where I'm picking the Revo up from. I used to race my RC10GT there days ago, but I prefer the bashing in open lots/fields thing over the track thing. Much less crowded. Thanks for the input.

Do you know where the Sand Pit is? if headed to the Antioch Bridge on 4 (I think that is west) to the left is the "Sand Pit" where people of-road a ton. There is plenty of room to bash out there. Also the new contruction up on at the top of the hill, take San Marco to the new contruction areas on the side of the hill. Tons of bashing up there.

Sand Pit

Sweet dude, thanks. I have seen the sand pit off of 4/160 just before bridgehead, but assumed it was private property/for off roaders only. I'll have to look in to it.

Aww man, I just sold my 1/8 buggy because it got so expensive. That area sure looks nice.

Another cool bashing spot is in the Foster City/San Mateo area. It's right near the bridge. It's usually for moto-x bikes and such, but you can get some nice air with a 1/8 buggy.
