I used to have a Schumacher Nitro Fusion. I had a buddy at RC Tech in Daly City special order it from Germany.

Its a 1/10th scale car. It had a 2.3 HP .21 motor (dunno the brand) with a 3 speed tranny. It was fast as hell 80MPH w/ the optional gears. I regret selling it.

I used to race Nitro sedan 5 or 6 years ago. I got my cars out a few months ago, cut some 2" PVC pipe "tires" for them and goofed around with some AWD drifting. But other than that I havn't touched them in 5 years

Every once in a while I think about getting back into it, but I'd have to buy new cars to be competitive. Just what I need.. another expensive hobby :-p

Going fast with it sucks, it rolls all the time, so i leave the electrical tape on the tires
and drift through my house and on the dirt sometimes.
nice! Associated makes good stuff. One of my first real rc cars was the rc/10 back in 86 or 87. Dam those where the days. RC has come so far since then. Grasshopper, wild *****, the frog, good stuff. I even still have my clod buster and a seperate clod buster with three gearboxes on a sassy chassis. I need to get those running again. Well if you are interested let me know.

Good ****, dont think i have ever heard of serpent. But I do know about crushing the front end. I did it the second week I had my kyosho. Rammed into my girlfriends tire!!!!! crushed the whole front right suspension assy. Had to order some parts. Thats the fun of it though ya know. Haha. Well if you get it fixed or just want to hang out let me know. I think this would be freakin awesome. I mean you cant go wrong:

Get a bunch of subies together, Run some RC, soak in the sites. Even get a nice little drive in. I will start thinking of a good spot and a good time to do it.

DAM!!! I bet that thing was sick. Germans know their engineering!!! haha three speeds! 80MPH nice. My kyosho probably goes around 60MPH with 2 speeds and it hauls, I couldnt imagine going faster.

So if anybody knows of some good offroad or onroad spots to run at post em'. Lets get some ideas floatin around here...

Yeah I never got into it competively, but I did do a few races when when i was younger. But i mean even if you have the cars and know they run its just for gettin out and havin some fun. I dont even mean racing or anything. Just goin somewhere tight and firin the little buggers up and hitting some jumps or if onroad some serious flats. HAHA Well if you decide to fire them up let me know.

I have an old HPI Nitro RS4 with a Evo V body. Haven't driven it in years. Have the old school two sticks radio too. I'm sure the engine needs to be replaced or at least the glow plug. I'd like to buy the body below, but I have a RC sailboat that I got last year as a birthday present that needs to be built. Just haven't been able to find the time.

AWESOME MAN!!! I like those bodies in that pic. My kyosho has a blue subie rally body on it. Pretty close to that one but not as detailed. But i really like that black wrx, very nice. Well give your car some TLC and get back to this post. Lets roll!

I hear ya. Thats fun too man. Relaxing. Well maybe we can go to a place with a grass area and a little pond or lake. Im up for whatever. I used to have a submarine, i believe it was tamiya. Had a lot of problems with it but when it was working it was sweet. It was a four channel. It actually had a flood and drain system for submerging. Hard as hell to keep up though.

Me too bro, me too. It is an expensive hobby, but when you crash a rc car its a little cheaper than a real one. Dam low battery at WOT,,,,,,oh ****. I change my batteries every two to three runs to make sure that doesnt happen. That does suck though. Well if you decide to fix your kyosho let me know. I might have some spare parts lying around from my FW-05T. Not sure if they are compatible. But i bought a whole bunch of stuff when i wrecked mine. So let me know.

Yeah you dont really need to. Most of the stock engines are pretty quick. The only reason i put a bigger engine in my kyosho was because it was my first nitro car and i pretty much f'ed the engine up and ended up learning how to take care of it. Its all about the after engine running oil, saves the engine big time. But your right they are already fast. Parts are crazy cheap, replacement stock parts that is. Once you start getting into the urgrades thats when it starts costing some $$$!!!
