If so, which shop and how much did you pay if you don't mind? Need to get my brakes done rotors/pads and would like a shop to handle it. Located in south bay.

There's GST in Hayward, they do a lot of great stuff with brakes. If you're up for the drive go to LIC in Novato they only have top of the line everything.

AutoHQ changed out my pads and rotors. They did a good job.Originally Posted by sjscooby

General Pimpin'
Any of the local suby shops can do it. It's a no brainer job if you have a lift and a one man bleeder.
Auto Innovations can do it too but I'd support one of our vendors. They pretty much all have brake deals going on from time to time.
GST did mine.

Well in that case, I'd recommend whoever is easiest to get to and does it cheapest. Brake jobs aren't rocket science, so going out of your way or paying extra doesn't make a whole lot of sense.Originally Posted by sjscooby
I'm aware of the DIY option but would not like to go that route this time.

I requested a brake quote from AHQ and these were the prices I was quoted:
$200 for brake line install (and bleeding, I'm assuming)
$150 per axle (front or rear) for pad/rotor install
Total: $500
I'm also curious to know what the going rate is in the area.
