You haven't had to deal with a claim though, right?

I'll have to check out wawanesa and esurance as well.
Esurance claim handling is fine. Yase had some work done on her through a claim. I didn't have any problems. Yes that is some coverage. The way I drive, I need it.

i have 100k/300k bodily injury coverage, 100k property dmg, towing, wage benfits and a bunch of other stuff that is not minimum by any means with full coverage, $250 deductible, for $220 a month and the wife and I are both only 26.

edit: i do have claims as well, one windshield claim, and one claim from bumping into the back of a ford excursion.

my rates went up 6 dollars a month. no complaints here
Dude this is another military benefit, I missed out on. I didn't know anything about. Apparently you have to sign up within 2yrs of your EAOS. I didn't no USAA for me.

When I got the STi, I called and did online quotes for every insurance carrier that I knew of that time. Only Mercury and Geico offered reasonable rates for a 25yo with 2 tickets. I can't remember if it was Farmers or State Farm, but one of them wanted $7k++ every six months

I stayed with Mercury, as I've been with them since '06. While this thread is not the first time I've heard/read crap about Mercury, they've treated me and my gf real well. Between us two, we've had 5 "non-fault" claims with Mercury with satisfactory results.

You should check now, they just expanded their services to cover more people. It is a pretty recent change like the last 2-3 months. More than likely you are covered now in the umbrella and you should be eligible for bank, insurance, financing, and everything else usaa offers.

I have EVERYTHING through usaa. Auto insurance, renters insurance, hopefully soon home owners insurance, life insurance, multiple bank accounts, credit cards, retirement, the whole shibang.

Allstate - $140/mo for... can't remember the exact coverages, but they're well above minimum. '07 CX-7 and an '09 Legacy. The Legacy makes up the bulk of my premium.

I have mercury and ATM in a huge lawsuit with them. They have no problem taking care of our car in our accident but don't want to pay us out what I am owed. Soon we will be changine cus I won't ever forget what my agent said to me after my accident.. Saying I would have been better off dead and well now that I'm actually dying from kidney failure they now say to my husband that when I do pass away he can't sue for anything extra. I have to prove all over again I wasn't at Fault which won't be hard in my case but they have to put me through hell just to finish this all off. We have pretty good coverage for not much and also only 100 dollar deductable but I will be so happy to change companies. They are there for sure for the cars sake but when you need them for yourself they will ignore you all the way through.

i didn't like AAA and All States... I had pretty good experience with 21st and okay with Farmers. I am with Farmers right now because of the rate. Maybe it's time to shop around again?!

I have CSE (Civil Service Employees... I am not nor have I ever been a Civil Service Employee, I called a broker and this is what he came up with 9 years ago) Have had it since I bought my '02 WRX (9 years).

100 / 300 coverage
500 collision deductible
250 comprehensive deductible
0 deductible windshield replacement
35 yrs old, good driver discount, etc...

Check was written for $520 for 6 months.

When the car was newer, same policy was closer to $800-900 / 6 months.

I have been in a couple fender benders (mostly people rear-ending me because I actually stop at stop signs and when turning right on red and apparently the rest of the world doesn't). No complaints about the service and getting things repaired. Once I took it to whatever shop they recommended, once my choice. Both were handled fine. Had cracked windshields replaced twice, zero deductible, zero hassle.

No complaints. I don't think I'm overpaying, if so, not by much.
