Animals love my car!!

Thank god my most recent brake upgrade is killer. I never really got into the brakes hard until friday.....they work.

Friday leaving work I come around a corner doing like 50 or and there is a dear in my lane. I didn't see it until I was right on top of it. I smashed on the brakes and came to a complete stop not even 2 feet away...more like 10 inches. Thing didn't freakin move until the cars on the otherside went by..it was fixed on their lights.

Then this morning I'm in DEEEEEENSE fog. My left fog light is out right now. I come around a corner and a coyote just come smoking out of the fog on that side....slammed brakes....slight turn to the right. Bam. Right into my car. I think it hit right in front of my rear wheel or something. I don't know what happened. No damage on the car I can find and no blood...well a couple streaks of what could be blood or wet mud.

Sucks man. I looked behind me and it was laying there wagging it's tail then bam. next car hit it. I don't know if I killed it on the spot and the tail wagging was a nerve kind of deal...I smacked it right in the head...think I might have rolled over it with my rear wheel...I can't really remember. But the next car definately put it out of it's misery. I actually pulled over because I was gonna go brake it's kneck if it was still alive. I felt like ****.

I never hit a single animal in my life until I moved out here in the cuts. Now I've hit 2 cats and a coyote. ALWAYS with my drivers side rear wheel...weird.

Gonna order new bulbs for the fog lights right now.

i hit a racoon with my drivers side rear wheel, it felt like the biggest and loudest speed bump ever. Then coming back down the hill a big buck was on the side of the road with its back arched taking a crap. my girlfriend and i laughed LOL, not so much at the raccoon, i felt like a dick.

Glad to hear you're ok. It seems lots of folks would have done something crazy and swerved into a tree to avoid or something.

better a coyote than my car...

I was driving through the fields. I drifted a bit to the right as I knew I had tons of space and snap overcorrection would have sent me the opposite direction into most likely a semi truck. I

man that sucks... we get a TON of deer crossing the road where i live and I try to drive slow at night so I don't run into one.

My driver's side fog bulb is out, reminds me I should get a replacement. Anyone know of a "yellow" bulb that I can use as a fog bulb replacement?

the yellow H3's are a common replacement. There is a light bulb thread in the lighting section of nasioc that is very informative...can't remember the name of the bulb I am ordering.....blast. I'll post up when I remember it.

lets see, i hve a pigeon under my belt....

two years ago i was driving down heller in RWC, and its always full of pigeons.. i laid out on the horn, and one defiant pigeon decided he wouldnt move. so i drove over him with the wheels on either side, so he would go down the center. well, thats when he decided he would take off. heard a thumping from underneath, and out he rolls in a feathery, bloody.... ball. got home and lookde at my front bumper, looked like i killed someone....
