Any one else hear anything about it? the wife and I went to the mall and it was closed down because there was a riot at the and1 event.

Thats why I only live in Hayward, but shop @ valley fair or stoneridge. Hayward is the new Oakland (no offence) The mayors never want to put money into the city to make it better and it just keeps getting worse!!!!!

I passed through there just after. Hayward PD, CHP, and Sheriffs blocked any cars from coming into that half of southland, saw a fire truck and and ambulance with its lights on but they were far from the crowds. Musta been one crowded bus going north on hesperian...
yeah the riot broke out and people started stealing everything.
i work at the game stop in union landing and we got an email saying not to take any returns or trade-ins for the rest of the day.
pretty crazy!!!
