F1 has every right to never want to come back to Indy again and there is nowhere else in the US that could put it on.

I hope Las Vegas makes a play for it. At least it's closer. Their trying to get a street race for F1 too.

Laguna could do it, but the seating is the biggest issue.

Laguna does not have enough runoff. Nor does any other race track in the US.

Road America would be the closest thing the US has to offer. They dont have enough runoff either, and Wisconsin probably cant attract enough people anyway. It was looking like Miller was maybe going to be it, but after going there, I dont think they have enough room either.

F1 at Laguna, that would be awesome. Just imagine the amount they would have to spend to get it upto standards...those walls are real close to the track.

You would have to spend so much money that it is just smarter to build a brand new facility specifically for F1 and not ruin the already very historic and loved track.
