About the whole paddock thing, there is really no point because its flat, open, and like anywhere else. It will be super smooth though.

Im just trying to escape the flatness of autocrosses. I dont know who designed that road course but i wouldve made something a lot cooler for them to pave over. The esses hardly have a line to them (you can straight line thru if you wanted to) and the angles as you crossover the mini oval are pretty steep.

They needed some banking on the road course, and a few more optional strights to make more combos for track layout (note that there are many dangerous points on my layout that could possibly cause an accident) But i made the best of what they had.

They really need to make something in the back of the pits, its basically a HUGE triangular bowl in the field that could seriously fit the infield in that area. But the money they have for the paddock wont go anywhere else
maybe your car isn't prepared enough, but when we run at candlestick, there i a hump like that, and that usually means getting air... air in a autox car could mean suspension death for many of the cars.

most autox cars are really stiff. Having a flat surface that can be configured in many ways is what autoX is all about.

What you are asking for is more like time trials.

wow! haven't seen the track since the re-configre/paved the thing. Pretty nice, and i would pay $30 for it. But I am just way too busy to do things like this now.

lol..the horse theif mile is actually a pretty tight technical road course if you compare it to the 2+mile courses like t-hill and laguna (or even the mainr road course at willow).

The "streets of willow" looks like a nice track as well

Yeah ive seen one track day for the horse theif mile. But do they time you and have results when your done? i dont want to practice, i just want to be timed against others and have it posted somewhere. If autox and rallyx wasnt timed i wouldnt do it.

Yeah i guess my car is fine for track days, but i was in a miata before, and a 323 GTX before that, so before i planned to spend 100's on track days, i wanted to put the money into the cars first.
