This is also what I believe, God has, is, and always will provide at important stages of my life for me as VRT MBasile at his moment. I honestly don't fear being single either lol but that might just be me.

 

Frack "settling". I just broke up with a chick that would have qualified as "settling". I went out last nite, got some from an ex that was in town from the east coast. Went out 2nite, had more fun with my friends than I have had in MONTHS. Next weekend, got @ least 2 girls in Tahoe that are dtf.

Settling, I say feh to thee.

Only if you're really into her, don't just settle for some random girl that you're not really interested in just because she makes you feel special by showing you some interest.

Random girls who show you a lot of interest right off the bat are often:

1. Too good to be true (want something, a drink perhaps?)

2. ****

3. WAPCE

4. Or on the odd chance, and I mean SMALL chance, is actually a really cool gal that doesn't often open herself up to guys but really thinks you're attractive (her type, likes something about you) enough to break her normal rules and show you some interest. Normally this doesn't happen, and if you're 35, single, never had a GF of any sort, you should already know that she's one of the 1-3 steps rather than the .001% (This number varies depending on the guy, by now you should know what your % is) of girls actually interested in you just for you without any other WAPCE things in mind.





BTW, the older the woman gets, the more likely you are to score a date. Young girls (under 21) are weird and have that "want to meet the right guy" mentality. Older women know that looks only go so far and are more interested in what the guy has to offer rather than looking for some "2 years older than her uber hot millionaire". Women over 25 typically are the best and most mature. I can't believe I used to date girls under the age of 23-24... WTF was I thinking!? Sure, they are hot but they have a lot to learn still. This isn't all girls under 23ish though, some gals are just mature by nature but you wont find that too often.

I guess I'm lucky. My wife approached me. 12yrs later we're still together. We celebrate 10yrs of being married this year. I always think of the night she approached me. I'll never forget it. IMO she separated herself from the others. It happened when I only had a few months left in the service. I wasn't looking for a relationship. I wanted to finish my service and GTFO of HI. Plans changed quickly. Next thing I knew I found myself living and working in HI. I got engaged, then married. I didn't settle just got bit by the love bug.

There isn't a set of rules when it comes to dating and relationships. If you think there is, you might be missing out on something really special. Keep your options open. If by chance any of you a lucky enough to come across that someone, no matter how the encounter may arise, take a chance, it might be the best choice you'll ever make.

good read, it's all stuff ive heard before, but I needed this today!
I've been quite complacent lately.. I have this kick *** job that takes up 90% of my conscious life. and boy is it worth it (dont think about it girls!) And my choice to stay sober eliminates potential meetings spots for chicks, I've been quite...ancy to be honest.
But shoot, I got a lot going on, and im sure a lot of us do.
I dont care man anyways, chicks my age (under 25) are ****ed up pretty much.
I think im going to join a church, about the only place to meet a genuine girl these days.. maybe a starbucks

My buddy said it was his 'pimpin' book, so i decided to give a crack at it.
It was alright, but I think being real is more important.

I dont know where i'm going with this... but I do enjoy being single, I dont have to worry about emotions that aren't sensible !!

 

The rules and advice I wrote is not for falling in love, it's for the people who haven't fallen in love and force relationships to happen when they really shouldn't. Everything goes out the window when both people have strong feelings towards each other, no doubt about that. When you're in love, you'll know... But when you're settling, you'll know that too and I just gave some advice on what not to do in a "relationship"

 

 

Believe it not, I met one of the CRAZIEST gals I've ever known through my Croatian church. I go to a Croatian church in San Jose which isn't just for religion, it's for Croats gathering together from all over the bay area in one spot... it's about roots, culture, and friendship....

Back when I was around 20 years old I met some incredibly hot gal that attended my church... She was a couple years younger than me and had just started going to college after having graduated from an all girls catholic high school. She had attended grade school through high school in the catholic all girls school system since she started going to school in the first grade, and believe me when I tell you this, she was the FREAKIEST and most outrageously suppressed gal you'd ever meet in your entire life. She lived and represented herself as some angelic and innocent girl that never did anything wrong, but boy was I in for a surprise. Behind closed doors she was nothing but the most opposite image of that innocent gal scheme that she had been fooling everyone with. She had been so deprived of male companionship for so long that she practically raped me when I gave her the opportunity!!! No joke and I'm not kidding AT ALL.

It wasn't just her, but a lot of these catholic suppressed gals that I've grown to know over the years have all had some pretty major personality problems... Don't get me wrong, there were some really normal gals there (usually the ones that weren't as suppressed as some of these other girls) that were total marriage material, but there were also a lot of girls with some major issues and I blame all of that on the suppressive religious schools/households that they grew up in. Everyone has needs, and when you suppress these needs they are bound to seep through other channels and appear in other avenues. Just be warned!


I met my wife through my Croatian church however and she's as good and wholesome as you could hope for. She went to normal schools (public schools in cupertino) and was never forced to go to church like the other girls were, and I think that's why she's so normal and lacks any weird issues like those that were found in the suppressed gals that I spoke of earlier.

There is hope in finding gals at Church, but don't think that just because she's at church that she's free of flaws... There are a lot of girls that have major issues and haven't had the chance to indulge in the decadence of life that they are only just now catching up and realizing what they have missed over the years, so be warned about that! I know this isn't exclusive to the Croatian church community because I have a lot of friends/relatives who have experienced the same thing in their local church communities.

I just don't want you to think that just because it's a church that the girls will be wholesome and normal... No matter where you go you will find "bad girls" regardless of the place where you look... Girls will be girls, and girls will be "bad" regardless of where you look. Just keep that in mind and stay wary and don't ever drop your guard regardless of where you are.
