this is the most badass $500 dollar movie-from-a-videogame Ive ever see. If any movie was ever made from a game it HAS to be Half-Life. Every other videogame is already derivative of some movie. So when they make a movie out of a video game they are basically making a movie thats derivative of a game thats derivative of a movie, and thats why they all suck. HL is one of the most unique and original stories anywhere in all of science fiction. I cant believe no ones ever done anything with it.
Especially when you see this clip, you dont mind the low budget acting once youre put first person into the setting and hear the familiar sound affects, its almost like being there, and this clip does a damn good job of blending the game visuals and sound effects with live action, can only imagine what it'd be like if they had a real movie budget. cant wait for the rest of them!

...but if theyre anything like valve, it will be another 5 years till episode 2
