everybodies faces are blurry because of the way a camera works. camera's have a little brain inside of them that tell them how much available light there is in the frame. this brain judges how long it should expose the film to what you want to take a picture of. when there is very little light, the film needs to be exposed to the light longer, so that the lights will be ligher. because the environment at rife was so dark, compared to daytime, the apeture had to remain open for a longer time, and therefore if someone was moving- even a little bit- while i was taking the picture, they would come up blurry. modern cameras fix this need for long exposure by using flashes. however i hate using flashes, because flashes flatten the color in pictures.
