I'm sure for some people it is useful and a valuable tool. I don't feel deprived because I see no value for me. Not trying to hate or asking people to justify their usage. Just seeing how many people don't have them.
plays well with others

I was still waiting for the second word.
BTW Volkey, has FB even found a way to sufficiently monetize itself yet? It needs to start making some real money now they they're going to have shareholders to answer to, I know they've been making enough to cover operations with the bit of advertising and selling users public data, but not nearly enough to account for how (over)valued they are, and they also have all the original venture capital, they've been waiting patiently for years for their big payday. Have a feeling things are going to change for all us users soon.

they take 30% of any apps or games or whatever that are delivered on their platform.
you read that right......THIRTY f*cking PERCENT.
So Zynga (ZNGA) had 1.02 BILLION in revenues last year. Do the math. I'd say FB has figured it out

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=ZNGA+Key+Statistics
and this is why Zynga has taken so much slack lately with their ****-poor IPO....because despite all their revenue (and the fact that they're actually profitable), 90+% of their revenue comes from FB games, which has a hefty FB tax associated with it.
The Facebook IPO will be bat-**** crazy. I'm going to dump a bunch of cash into FB as soon as the market opens, and at the same time, load up my AR-15 and bug-out bag just in case Social Anarchy happens in Silicon Valley, it'll be Y2K all over again but with a better chance of **** actually Hitting The Fan. LOL
