IIRC turbo timers are illegal as some tap into the ecu which is a big nono for smog

Non-stock catback give them reason to believe more may be done.

You still didn't answer the first question though. How fast were you going? (and what was the speed limit?)

I suggest we never meet in Alameda ever again. The most sensitive place in the Bay Area that I know. The crime rate is too low there. Cops have nothing better to do than enforce traffic violations. Granted that if we don't do anything to attract attention, we'd should be fine. But the risk is just too high.

I was trying to push the Fremont/Alameda meet towards Oakland instead =p

Now we know (for sure) not to have car enthusiast meets in Alameda.

I think groups of 10+ subies driving around attracts enough attention even if we do obey traffic laws.

When I looked at the needle it said 60 that's when I let off the gas to slow down the speed limit is 45 then again the car that was next to me when we entered the tunnel blasted by me.

aye ****er, its the cops not the city.

the city has nothing to do with it, but i do agree APD usually has nothing better to do. u also see them more because its a small town. odd thing is i never got harassed by alameda cops, and i always drive more aggressively around town than others.

That's a very ignorant thing to say. You can't blame the city, it's the cops. That's like me saying "F' norcal! I hate that pos place", just because of one cop ruining it for me.

And there would be nothing wrong with you saying that. It's opinion.

He doesn't like Alameda. I don't like mustard.

I don't think he said he blamed the city for anything?
Plus it's a natural reaction to this kind of situation. Don't be so righteous. Get off the soap box. etc etc etc.

Let me guess... you were giving it some gas through the tunnel so that you could hear the exhaust? What'd you expect the cops to do?

You, to them, seemed to be breaking more laws than the car that was only speeding, as you were speeding AND driving a possibly illegally modded car.
