The only hit I've taken that scared the **** out of me was a single shot planted directly in the middle of my glasses. "Plastics saved my eye."

I was reading that there are small paintballs that could also fit into the airsoft guns. Is this right? If so, maybe we can freeze the paintballs and then go into the range and go after other groups..............

There are BB sized paintballs, but they're not really strong enough to survive being shot. Freezing them defeats the purpose, might as well dip plastic BB's in acrylic hobby paint instead, probably safer, definitely cleaner.

.. if your gun is 300+ it's not good, if the bb size paintball explodes in the barrel .. your screwed.

most stock tokyo marui guns are 275-285 fps and I believe stock classic army guns range from 280-320 fps depending on the gun.

Any gun can be modified to shoot faster, generally kits allow you to upgrade to either 350 fps or 400 fps

Any mods that put your gun over 350 can severely limit the number of games you'll be welcomed to. People get all excited about having a powerful gun, but there are tradeoffs (slower rate of fire, shorter battery life, people thinking you're a jerk, etc.). Any CQB situation should be kept under 300 - I mean, this is supposed to be fun.

Another vote for Airsoft Extreme. Those guys rock.

Thanks for the info. This will keep me pointed in the right direction, as far as an airsoft purchase is concerned

Im down for one. I bought a CA M4 R.I.S. and only shot half a bag of BB's thru it then sold it because I have no one to play with. I kept my glock g18c though. I am down on fridays and sundays and evening.
