The AK Beita Spetsnaz

Anyone heard of any con about it?

 

Ive only heard good things.

One thing (which is good to me), is that gun as well as the AK varients are far quieter than any other gun. Its the way the reciever is set up.

Not a con, but they are also one of the most reliable guns. I can shoot bbs through my AK that none of my other friends can through their guns (MP5s, M16s, etc). I say you go for it.

 

if its made by tokyo marui then its going to be a great gun

 

yeah that is a good point, all tokyo maruis (for the most part) are the same. So basically pick which one you think looks the best. Only differences are battery size and hi-cap mag capacities.

 

i would be down for a airsoft event.

 

okay, so i think i'm gonna organize an airsoft event. The place that just opened up is open on wednesday, friday, sat, sun. But if we can get 15+ ppl to go, the owner will open the place up for us on any day. I'd like to wait till me and my friend get our guns, then it's all good. If you want to come, there will only be about 6 sets of rentals available so most of the people will have to bring their own gear, and if you bring rifles, it must be around 300 fps, no more than 330. So i'll get back to you guys when i get more info.

What kind of place is it? Is it along the lines of an indoor paintball "arena", or more like a close quarters combat (CQB) layout?
More targets the better ;-)
My P90 is under 300fps, so no worries.

Overall, I'll be happy to shoot you.

Right back at ya and yes it's a CQB place .. or i like to call it CQC .. sounds better.

I'm gonna start up another thread here on baic when we get our guns .. should be within a week.

i believe the only (slight) negative about the Spetsnaz is it has lower accuracy due to the short barrel than the regular AK or longer rifles.

under 300 fps eh. that pretty much limits people to stock guns. well, i havent modded my AUG yet...

Yea, the spetsnaz definitely has a shorter barrel, but since this is going to be my CQC weapon, it doesn't really matter. And as far as 300 fps goes, i was playing last weekend and had couple of 320 fps hit on me, ... both my collar bones *sigh* hurts like hell and it broke the skin and left big bruises ... and that's only at 320 fps .. I seen pictures of people whove gotten shot with 400-420 fps bbs at say 20 ft .. it leaves a crater and you'd have to take the bb out of your skin. and it also damages the face mask.

 

Holy Sh**! Yeah, I don't want anything like that shooting at me!

 

i was shot on the top of the head by brucie's ak from 30 ft away and it didn't really hurt, let alone leave a mark. His ak shoots at 400fps
