Yeah it sucks but m not putting up with it ANY more! The doctor put acid into the root of each side that he cut out so the nail does not grow back. If it doesnt grow back, I should be in the clear for good *crosses fingers*

Ingrown toenails are very painful. Feels like you have glass stuck under your nail, Ive been dealing with them for years doing home surgeries and such but that is only a temporary fix.

Took the bandages off. Yeah, toes not pretty but not nearly as bad as I expected. Sides of the nail are black from the acid....crazy!

****ed up shoes, inproper trimming of nails, rotten luck, and having a fat GF have all been blamed.

How did it happen? Years of skateboarding combined with tight fitting shoes me thinks. Probably my fault for buying shoes that JUST fit and waiting for them to stretch out. I should have bought shoes that had a roomy feel, but I hated skating in floopy clown shoes. I also should have had this taken care of a long time ago but I always put it off by trying to fix it myself....doing that just made it worse in the long run.

Live and learn.
