yeah i feel your pain...same toe too and same freakin side...have no freakin idea why and i have been to podiatrist twice for that same freakin toe.....have your podiatrist use a chemical to kill off that small portion of the nail, so it wont grow in that area of the toe anymore, thats what i am going to have done next...

You know, they have this crap they can put on that side that kills that portion of the nail, right? I had that done after 3 ingrowns on the same toe, worked a ****ing miracle.

You need to have all the nail removed, not just the ingrown part. I used to get one all the time also, but it wasn't until the doc told me I had to remove the whole thing in order for it to stop coming back.
