I never thought of running the AC. I am going to give the tap water a go next time it freezes down here.

Easy tip for avoiding ice on the windshields: Lay paper grocery bags over your windows before going to bed. Works like a charm and you can just stash the bags in your car until you need them again!

 

the media did a report on the very subject, and suggested a piece of cardboard instead of paper bags. Same difference, great idea!!

 

Checking in from Reading, England - here til the 20th. I was surprised to see that it's a bit warmer over here than back home in the Bay Area. Also, inlaws in Stockholm were laughing as last week, it was exactly the same temp in San Mateo as Stockholm, and at times a little colder. Here in the UK, it's just wet and rainy but I have not really used my jacket I wore every day back home.

Also, snow in Cairo for the first time in 112 years. Is this global warming?

 

So cal is in the 80s.......Friday Saturday Sunday Monday suppose to be tomorrow as well.
