93 Impreza L @ Newark Pick n Pull
Friend texted me this morning and said he was at Newark Pick n Pull and they just drove in a 93 Impreza L on to the lot.
After I heard this I drove over there to take a look at it. I told the manager I was interested in buying it and I wanted to test drive it. Then he told me they don't do test drives on any of their cars, they are sold as is. After hearing this I said no thanks.
I probably would have bought this car today if they had let me get a test drive.
But just in case anyone is interested here's some info if you want to pick up a cheap dd / or swap car.
1993 Impreza L sedan
Burgundy red
AWD
4EAT
197,xxx miles
Interior and exterior are in really good shape overall, car does not look like its been in an accident. Paint had faded a lot but hasn't peeled yet, car looks a very dull red color.
Started up the motor and it sounds very smooth.
Looks like oil has been leaking from the valve covers gradually over time.
Torn cv boot on the passenger side axle.
Manager said they could let it go for 700 + tax.
Thats about all I know, maybe one of you guys on here will ****** it up and make use of it!

I'll bet someone interested could "bargain" down the final price on it as well. Picking a car up from a junkyard/Pick n Pull is just like any used car lot. They love cash, and money talks.
