anyone know of (a pick n pull kind of a place that has subarus?)

anyone know of

a pick n pull kind of a place that has subarus? i'm looking for a 05sti to pull the HIDs off of, i just got done talking to subaru parts and they charge 700ish a side for everything, but i wanna see what kind of a deal i can get from one of them yards

There is a place in Sac land. Rancho Cordova I think. It is called Subaru Dismantlers I think.

no doubt, and any HID equipped cars usually don't make it into a pick and pull with their lights.

chances are those cars are already picked and pulled before actually making it to those places.

Good luck...

It will probably be another 15 years before STI's lower enough in value to make it into PnP's...

You cant even find 10 year old cars at PnP's...

Oh, and the Rancho Subaru yard wont have any STI's laying around. They hardly have any 02+ Imprezas.

yeah, it's a good thing most parts on imprezas from 93-01 in the US are similar. I got a drivers side window from an L coupe from them.

Anything performance specific would be very hard to find there.

=( in that case then.... anyone know of a good HID kit? or should i just take it up the *** and buy it from subaru housing and all

It's true. When I blew my trans back in June on my 03 WRX, I called them and they didn't have any WRX trannies. The closest they could track one down was all the way in Colorado, and shipping the thing over here was outrageous. They were very helpful people though.

That's because some transplant specialists buy up all of the drivetrains.
