yup, states have been pretty liberal about enforcing this, but now i have a feeling they are going to be more strict now because it is revenue they are losing and they need the revenue more than ever. all the state tax board has to do is ask credit card companies to provide them with records of stuff bought out of state and check if you declared it on your taxes. if not, bam! pay up sucka!
