dangit, I usually double the tax to see how much I should tip. Now I have to tip more or do crappy math

 

it doesn't bother me too much since almost everything i buy that's over $100, i buy online to save tax.

 

this doesnt seem like much but if you calculate 1% of ALL your spending in a year, its a lot...

 

The worst part is it is all just going to go to waste.

why don't they just raise is to 10%. it will be easy for me to calculate everything after the tax price if 10%. hehehehhe. JK

ya, San Jose will be 8.25%, + 1% CA statewide increase = 9.25%

lucky me in Campbell, 8.25%, + 1% CA statewide, + 0.25% support local schools = 9.50%
