Isn't it only half a percent more in some areas? IDK I don't see it bother me too much. Not like it went up 5%.

dangit, I usually double the tax to see how much I should tip. Now I have to tip more or do crappy math

it doesn't bother me too much since almost everything i buy that's over $100, i buy online to save tax.

The worst part is it is all just going to go to waste.

CA squandered all of the tax payers money on total BS before, how is this time any different? We're just paying more for it.

ya, San Jose will be 8.25%, + 1% CA statewide increase = 9.25%

lucky me in Campbell, 8.25%, + 1% CA statewide, + 0.25% support local schools = 9.50%
