oh hells bells Jeff, a black on black 930

this was the first car I was in LOVE with , I built the plastic model when I was 11 and it was the centerpiece in my collection. hell Im working across the street from there tmr, I should run over and take a couple more pics!!

BTW, only the early carbed 308s were worth a damn, all the injected 308s sucked ***, they didnt get any good till the 328s. though Id take a 930 over any of em anyways!

and hell, lets look at that 930 yellowbird on the ring, you'll def like 6:27-6:33

I know of a really badassed Porsche that is currently for sale for low $20K range.
It's a '72 911T (read smog exempt) with a fully built 3.2 liter and full Electromotive F/I and ignition
944 Turbo Brakes and all sorts of suspension goodies

The thing is freakin quick

PM me and I'll hook you up with the owner

Rays suggestion was to buy an SC and slap on a 930 tail. Why would I want to do that?
Ah, no worries - i'm an idiot. I didn't see Ray's suggestion and thought you were saying "bah it's just an SC w/ a turbo wing" about the SDS car, which did start out as a '78 SC but the engine pics alone are drooly. Car is nutty.

FWIW this car is sooo for from being all it can be.
Wow. That will be crazy. Is it getting together soon or far from finished? I was hoping to get my Celica on a track this summer, but now it looks like it may not happen.

Yeah, an early carbed "glassfibre" 308 would be sweet. I used to like those an awful lot, but only because they vaguely resemble one of my top favs - the 288GTO. The cool thing about the 930 though is it's actually USABLE as well as attainable. Sometimes I think I should just sell all my cars and buy one nice one. Haha..

The difference being one of those will always be an icon, the other one will be forgotten.

-1 for new Porsche...if i had $60,000 to spend on a Porsche, i still wouldn't buy a new one. i don't wanna look like the yuppie next to me at the light. Of course a new one would be more fun at times, im sure this one is RAW!

I have more fun driving my RS than my friends STi (stock...meh)
with only 45k documented miles
lol opposed to the undocumented kind? how many miles are REALLY on it?

Bleh who knows about this particular car. The idea here is it's one later production runs of the 930. It about as good as it can get if your interested in a 930. If I had 36K laying around I'd probably look for something exactly like this. I guess that's why it's a dream car.

Jeremy: Thanks for the vid. I was day dreaming vicariously as I watched. Droolz... I want one sooo bad.
