Good thing is with an old Porsche like that is they are really cheap for parts and a Porsche mechanics time is usually really cheap. Plus they have a reputation for being ultra reliable.

I still can't find a sarcasm smiley.

Haha.. I assume you are talking about the SDS car. If you looked at that page and all your got out of it was "an SC with a turbo wing" then keep the Suby, dude.

Blah, parts not cheap
Mechanic; not cheap
Reliable: they most certainly are. besides they are super easy to work on. you can pull an engine from a Porsche in like 20min.

Aargh. That's the point, it allows you to correct and stay on your line better in a way that you cannot w/out it. Steering with the throttle is sweeeeet. Would love to see your 914, those are so classic - are you doing Suby powah in that thing or a 2.0 or something? My step bro has one w/ a 355 and a 930 tranny. It is a little silly.

I will keep the Suby. I went back a couple of times and I still have no idea what you are a talking about.
Rays suggestion was to buy an SC and slap on a 930 tail. Why would I want to do that?

The plan is EJ22[T]
100mil pistons
STi crank [because I like to stroke things]
VF 34
PWR A/W barrel cooler
plus any number of other goodies I have laying around.

FWIW this car is sooo for from being all it can be.

Boy you guys don't drive your Subaru's hard do you? Lift throttle oversteer? yea if that's what you call allowing the front end to bite instead of pushing and ploughing like the front heavy pig it is!

Nice choice of car Jeff, personally I want a GT3 cup car but that's only cause they kick my *** here and there at the track, bastards!

Mike
