Indeed. The rev limit was also raised to 7500. The G37 gets the new VQ37 across all models, and it puts out about 330BHP, but it gained a lot of weight in its redesign.

My shop is perfectly capable of setting up a 350z as we have a shop track model i'm currently prepping as a customer demo car and have tons of suspension parts in stock for his car. we also supply the entire Cosworth line for the car and can set up either NA or FI versions with any kit he would choose to run. If you consider twin turbo bolt on mods, vq35hr (engine for MY07+) can make 500whp without any internal mods safely per one of my350z.com thread. Performancefactory made a kit using HKS twin turbo kit for older model Z for vq35hr engine, dynoed 495.48 HP at the wheel with 10psi.
