in contrary to this, Turbo Magazine had the same kit installed on a silver 350z, and they stated that the recommended boost is only 4.xx psi ( can remember exactly ) and they got whp in the range of only the high 390's......... but the said it had a street price of $7,500

He got the 350z used though from a private seller so that saved him quite a bit.
As for warranty, I think its overrated. Most dealer warranties cover you until 36k, right? In that time only minor tune up are needed, which is easy to do yourself...
And if you do break something by driving it very hard (via launching etc)--your pertty much on your own anyways, as a lot of dealers will detect the abuse and void your warranty with the quickness.
His cars still cheaper then that 44k in the end, and has burned z06's...
but in any case thats not really the point.
Just giving props to a turbo'ed Z driver.
