I'm sure plenty of those boats were peoples livelihoods as well, not everyone with a boat is a rich *******, charter and fishing boats need crews and owners as well. Also not sure why one would take away from the other.

Why don't you look at the other thread before you run your ****ing mouth *** hole, myself and others are still waiting to hear from missing family over there, hundred are dead and thousands are still missing and probly burried under thousands of square miles of mud and debris. So yeah, sorry if it think there's bigger things to worry about with the tsunami right now, how about trying to use a little perspective before you post idiot.

Agreed, I still have a friend I can't get in contact with as well. Massive destruction and missing people > a few boats.

Not to mention we had an ample warning. Anyone that cared for their boat could've moved it out to sea for half a day.

but, still not sure why they're mutually exclusive. I'll be your whipping boy for the moment though if that'll help.

Nah sorry, we're all just totally stressed right now. The yacht comment was because a couple hours ago i turned on the news and all they showed for ten minutes was a helicopter hovering over a couple yachts bouncing around in santa cruz, while I was watching the live stream from japan on my computer, made me want to rage.
Anyhow, no worries, peace.

Blame American news coverage rather than PArex. You wonder why the rest of the world hates us sometimes. Our country totally has that "me" attitude more so than not.
