The car's running well. This past weekend we cured one of its death rattles by prying the cat a little away from the driveshaft, and also ziptied the springs to the lower perches in the rear since the springs that are on the car are flopping around at full droop. We bled the brakes and now it stops like a champ, and the pads and rotors are good to go for the race. As long as we don't boil the fluid we should be good on the brakes area. The suspension will be, er, interesting as the right rear shock is completely blown and the other three are soft. There's a swaybar in front, but none on the back so we're likely to have a fair amount of understeer. I've got the turbo controller set to "off" for Saturday at least, but there's still some oil coming out somewhere. We'll have to keep an eye on it.
