Way I see it...
Thursday night we either eat on the road or eat at the brewery depending on arrival times.
Friday/Sat/Sun morning breakfasts. We'll need probably 3 dozen eggs. 4 pounds of bacon. some sausage. Maybe some tortillas. Cheese. Etc. I can bring the waffle iron up if people want or we can do flapjacks. Killer source of morning carbs.
Lunch we've got the stew, we can sandwiches and chicken legs????
I figure the more we eat at home the cheaper it will be on all of us. I spent GRIP this weekend on foods.
beer we were thinking maybe getting it at the growler instead of snowshoe but I'm open for either.
Growler has killer irish red. Winter white out at the snowshoe is killer.
Need to figure out who's riding with who and when. etc etc.
You guys want me to do a freedom run again so we can bbq one night? Any inputs is good. I can get bulk bacon that is super thick and tasty for about the same as store bacon too. butcher bacon... yum. But whatevers.

Seems like y'all got the right idea on grubbin'... just like last year but w/ a couple tweaks.
According to last time's list (click me), we made our own breakfast burritos along w/ cereal; for lunches, we brought up sammiches & snacks; then for din-dins, we grilled up a storm.
This time around looks to be a virtual repeat. Even though I'm sure most of us would easily annihilate waffles or flapjacks, I think we should keep it simpler for b-fast to get our a$$e$ on the mtn ASAP!
Me likey the stew idea (sounds bomb!), esp. after getting back fr riding, as well as any grillin' leftovers to bring to the resort along w/ sammiches.
As far as making a run out to Freedom, we'll see what everyone else wants to contribute for grillin' action. I know El Jefe & Justin brought some yummy marinated beef & chicken last time. W/ those goodies, I barely missed the fact the we didn't have specialty stuff or did we?
Oh... and I'll give both brewery spots a call later for pricing, keg sizes & availability.

I updated the 1st post. Before we get too involved w/ the food & bev list, like Ray suggested, we need to do this...
Or as the line-up in the 1st post now reads:
Who's driving/riding w/ whom? When are you heading up? When are you heading back?

For carpooling, I can drive or ride along w/ someone. Remember, I'm out in Vallejo, but can easily meet up at Justin's or anywhere else reasonably convenient. I can leave as early as 2pm on Thur afternoon, and I'm still undecided on whether I'm gonna shred on Sun. This warm tropical moisture has a mix of rain & snow hitting the lower mtn thru the week, so I'm just gonna base it off of just how good (or bad) the snow is in the lower bowls when we ride on Fri & Sat.
I know Li'l Jeff is thinking of heading hm on Sun w/o riding that day, too.

Update on Suds
Snowshoe:
Pony keg = 7.75 gal = 82 (12 oz) glasses... ~$70 + $100 CASH deposit (refunded when keg is rtn'd).
The Growler:
No kegs offered! WTF?!? Did they lie to me? I'm gonna call early 2mrw to see if I get the same response since the guy I just spoke w/ seemed kinda unsure.
Growlers = 1/2 gal = ~4.5 pints... ~$13+ depending on variety
For keg pick-up on Thur nite, we need to order 2mrw by 3:00!!!
Also, Snowshoe closes at 8:30 on Thur.

I'm gonna make a costco run this week and get a couple cases of water and a case of gatorade.
I'll need a ride up to the cabin. I should be at my house Thursday about 5:30-6.

I can head up late afternoon on thursday. I wouldn't mind riding with someone but I might stop and pick up my buddy Todd on the way up. We should try and pick a time to meet up in like tracy at justin's house and carpool up from there.
I think we can make it to snowshoe by 8:30.

Good looking out, Ray! And I'll go back thru these 50+ posts real quick to make sure I've got everything updated so far.
Oh, and I'll drive up. Since Jordan's already driving up his truck on Fri nite and you & him have to head back after riding a half day on Sun, it just makes sense for you not to have your wgn out there, right?
Maybe we can get it worked out where Jordan & Li'l Jeff's friend Paul can meet up & roll in together on Fri nite.
Also, is Todd planning on heading up on Thur or Fri?

I was thinking something like that. Only good part of my wagon being up there is donuts.
Gotta talk to Todd tonight to get the low down on his deal.
If anyone can think of a cool multiplayer PS3 game, rent it. We should be able to put together 4 remotes. And I think someone was thinking about an xbox 360?

Hey! So what's the verdict on the Pony? Are we going w/ the Winter White Out? I don't think I've ever had it and unfortunately it's not listed on their website. What variety is it exactly?
Also, we're still gonna fill a couple growlers of Irish Red down at Growler/Figaro's, right?
