Ray: Last year, I think we actually packed our own lunches (sammiches, snacks & sudz) to bring to the mtn. I know in yrs past we've chowed at the general store in the village. But I totally feel ya on having some warm food a la mini-Weber/campstove in the parking lot.

Well. I can probably get the turkey fryer. I have a little grill. Jordan has one of those two burner camp stoves and I think el jefe has a smokey joe.

 

I do have a mini weber.

 

I'm heading up for a Friday/Sat/Sun this weekend and I just got the thumbs up for Fri/Sat/Sun the weekend of our trip.

I am doing a halfer on thursday as the land lord is coming by so woot on that. And still heading down early on sunday.

Jeff... have fun in tahoe broham. Thursday is gonna be EPIC.

 

Dude don't you remember the lady at Figero's saying that no one deep fry's wings, they are always baked.

I might just bring my air mattress and crash on the first floor. Get away from you all snoring people.

 

I guess you just figured out why I've always crashed out on the sectional. That & it's comfy as hell to me!

 

There's the couch down there. And if someone didn't jack the foam away from homes (grizz) you could crash in the closet. Haaa. Mad quite and comfy in there with the cushions but it can't handle an air mattress.

I'll sleep in the other room and give you guys some peace and quite. haaa.

Ok so I got some good news and some bad news..

Good news:
My request at work to get the 27th off got approved, so looks like I'll be boarding Friday and Saturday!

Bad news:
A few weeks ago my parents were cleaning up my garage (while I was out of town for the weekend) and put my snowboard rack in the attic. I went up there and pulled it down a couple days ago, so I have the main part of the rack but my dad lost all the hardware for attaching it to the roof of the car. We both looked all over for it but couldn't find it anywhere. Thing that sucks is I bought this rack 3 years ago and I have NEVER even got to use it ONCE to go snowboarding.

So as long as I just have myself and 1 person I'll be cool to carry snowboards since I'll take my back seat out. If I end up having a 3rd person (myself included) then he'll probably need to grab a ride with someone.

Hoping to find out on my 3rd person today, give him a call after work.

 

what are you missing? Yakima? I'm sure it can be borrowed from someone. haaaa.

I have no racks either so my car is good for 3 people. Don't want to speak for him but jeff's is good for 4 if I hook him up with the thule slant racks we have. Cliff is 4. My bro's truck is 2 but can take all the boards so once we're up there board space is no issue. Justin can leave his isht up there this weekend so he won't need to bring it up next weekend.

 

Bah... that ain't "bad news" at all. It's a bit of a bummer, but like Ray said, we've got plenty of room amongst all the "smart" Subie owners of the crew (ahem... wagon owners FTW!!! ).

El Jefe already offered spots in the leggy for tooshies inside as well as for boards in the rack (he's got one already, Ray). If I bring mine up, same deal.

And it looks like everyone, but Jordan are good for Thur nite. Li'l Jeff, y'all are planning on heading up Thur nite, too, right?

 

Jeff's rack only holds 2 boards because of shallow mount. But I have another one that will hold 4. So jeff can run 6 boards on his car. I'll bring it to his house at some point before the trip.

My buddy todd might come up friday with jordan. I have never ridden with him but I've known him a long time. Really good guy and you guys will like him...

Yea me and my buddy Kevin are planning to head up Thursday night.

I got ahold of my other friend Paul. He is def not boarding on Friday but may possibly come up Friday night to board with us on Saturday, depending on how bad the weather is since he'll be in a rwd vehicle.

 

I'll probably bring my clothes down and wash them so they aren't too stinky. hahahaha But yea I can leave my board and shizz up there.

And yea Cliff, I'm sure I contribute to the snoring occasionally, but it also gets really dry in there making it difficult to sleep.

Oh and Ray, I'm probably good for this weekend, Fri, Sat, Sun. My jury duty got dismissed so I just gotta lie to work and tell them I have a personal matter to attend to Friday and can't come in. hahahahaah
