seriously, prep work took the most time....wash/peel/cut garlic, the shrimp--wash/peel/de-vein, bread---butter & garlic/wrap, asparagus--clean/cut all uniform, and oh, wipe all the spots/streaks off the ghetto plates & flatwear....some other OCS stuff too....takes me FOREVER to do stuff!

yeah, when it comes to my "priorities," I certainly need help!

At this point in my life tho, I'm just not really sure because the girls will always be there even when I'm rolling in my Rascal Scooter BUT, it's not like I really can play or enjoy b-ball forever! I'm just trying to get as much of it as I can.....WHILE I still can!

hahaha.....I most definitely went a lil crazy w/the portions on everything not just the asparagus. That was only 1/2 of what I cooked too!

As mentioned, those were just the BEFORE pics. I set the table all nice & purdy w/the flowers, crystal, and what not afterwards.....just didn't have time to snap more pics cuz i was screwing around and running behind already.

oh, and I 1/2'd her portion of asparagus......ate ALL of mine tho! Let's just say, my toilet is probably radioactive/glowing now!

btw, I know it wasn't a very fancy spread, but hey, I'm just a bachelor-grade cook---spaghetti, steaks, stir-fry, and other low-tech dishes. I guess I'm okay at what I attempt tho.....most people that try my stuff give me compliments. but i think that's really more because they're surprised a wise-a$# like me actually knows how to cook!

Oh btw, y'all know what's coming up in a lil bit...............

Lakers Suck.. they are on their downward spiral. Soon they will be as "good" as the 76'ers.
