Anyone know a GOOD key cutting place that can do titanium cuts?
I'm thinking about getting one of those JDM STi keys like this one
http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...sti-p-243.html
but I have no idea where I can go to get it done right. I'm sure as hell not going to Ace or Homedepot as they couldn't even cut my house key probably because I have to do some weird wiggle to get it to unlock.
If anyone have connections or just know where to go to get it done, I greeeeatly appreciate it! Thanks
This is a genuine Subaru key blank made from a titanium alloy. This makes your key strong and light weight. This key needs to be cut by an experienced key-maker. Some key-makers are not able to cut titanium properly.

Do you even really need to get it cut?
Just put it in your keychain.
You use your remote to unlock your car and you'll have to use the black key to start the ignition.
That STi key doesn't have a transponder built into it.
on a side note, I got mine done @ Yard Birds and it worked fine.

i got mine cut at home depot it works in all the key holes, the only funny thing is the trunk has to be open only one way. like its upside down opening only
Home Depot won't do it anymore and neither will OSH. They have some sort of casing they put the key into and they don't have the one to fit the sti key (I tried them both when I had mine cut). Just go to a locksmith, they'll be able to do it for a few bucks

Boo, yeah thanks for the heads up, it doesnt work for my car. I saw it over at iwsti.com when I was browsing the parts forums and since it was only 20 bucks, I thought why not. But since it doesn't work, I won't be getting it. It does look cool though. I got to say the Subaru keys are really lacking in quality and feel. My fob feels so cheap. It's like cheap plastic and doesn't feel good to press the buttons. The key also looks too ordinary. Oh well, whatever, thanks for the help again, I'll just live with it, it's not a big deal.

not every car company can have a key as cool as this:
