How were you launching? What RPM's, how much sliping?

Are you going to share your experience launching extremely powerful AWD cars with bad clutches with Bill?

Practice!

besides that just slip it till she starts to move then lay off her quick to engage fast, but not to fast. Sorta of an art, to fast and you bbreak things, not fast nuff and you might rev her to high making to much power for the clutch to hold. Thus causing it to heat up and simply slip like a ****.

Just practice man, sounds like your clutch is sorta toast anyways so might as well practice launching. Then i would seriously consider getting another stock clutch disk put back into her. ESP since your not a full time drag guy (easier to replace a clutch then a gear set, and the clutch will go before the gear se, unless of course the gears are allready on their way out).

Just my humble thoughts.

Whats your problem man? Talk to me in person if you have a problem, keep the condensending remarks off the boards.

Besides, Bill does need to discuss what he does so that everyone can help, not just me.
