Just wanted to post a pic update. Sunol Superstop now carries other octanes off the pump.

That is awesome that they are carrying a larger selection.

However. Lets try and see what is the cheaper way to get to 94 Octane.
Assume a 12 Gallon fill.

94 Octane = $3.849/gallon
12 x 3.849 = $46.188 = $46.19 Total

100 Octane = $5.749/gallon
Chevron 91 Octane = $2.37/gallon (current price taken from www.gasbuddy.com for San Ramon area )

( 4 x 5.749 ) + ( 8 x 2.37 ) = ( $22.996 ) + ( $18.96 ) = $41.96 Total

Why those particular numbers? Well unless I am calculating this incorrectly it would seem like:

( 4 x 100 ) + ( 8 x 91 ) = {( 400 ) + ( 728 )}/12 = 94

So unless my math is wrong it looks like it would be wise to do a mixture of 100 Octane + 91 Octane to get to 94 Octane because it looks like it saves almost $4.25/fill-up.

*Note - Numbers might be slightly off for pricing, but it should be roughly equivalent.
