It's amazing how everyone speaks so highly of a company, then turns on them like a pack of wild jackals with a single post...
...from the looks of what little Gruppe-S did post, they're looking for a way to make things right. It doesn't look like I-Speed, where you have to send the motor back to them for THEM to inspect it and tell you it's your fault...it looks like they're at least TRYING to take responsibility for their actions and make corrections where they need to be made.
Just like the little 'incident' that happened with Gruppe-S when Mike WAS there...but he worked to make it right...so nothing was said. Why not wait and see before treating this company like Saddam and lynching them before they have a chance to speak/act on this and make it right?
I bet in a week or so, if the OP has an open mind and is willing to deal with Gruppe-S that this will all work out.
Do I work for, represent, or am I a fanboi of Gruppe-S? No. I'm more of a business representative who hates seeing companies lynched or ostracized without being given a chance to make things right.
If in another week, the OP still has problems, and has been told to f*** off by Gruppe-S? Then bust out the bedsheets, light the torches, and march on!!

What is diffferent? Hmm a few things. Let's start with the most obvious and gradually move up, please follow along.
Gary @ Gruppe S is calling the OP a LIAR. A fawking liar. The OP said he SAW the mechanic pry on his exhuast and damage it. Insult to injury he bought the exhaustr that didn't fit where, oh yeah Gruppe FAWKING S. The pics show fresh marks, even though I am not expert it is obvious to me. It would be another story if he said hey, let's work it out. Instead he is saying your a liar but we can work something out. To some of us character means a lot.
Ok now what else is different? Um like the entire staff at Gruppe-S. Everyone that was there before that people defended are now GONE. That is a very easy concept to grasp.
What we have here is a little different that the case you describe. It's not a popularity contest as you would try to make it out to be.
