I have a phase I EJ25 block left over from an engine replacement
I could sell it for a few hundred bucks or I could use this opportunity to build it up into a nice turbo motor for my 97 Outback. Besides getting better rods, crank, pistons, rings, is there any company that will bore this 216k miles old block out and sleave it for turbo use? Should I lower the compression or keep it the same w/ stronger internals for 300+ hp? I already have a ported/polished rebuild DOHC head so I'm covered there. Tell me what you think. This block will be just sitting there wasting away if I don't do something with it. It still has good compression too.
