2000 2.5RS question Turbo
I have a 2000 2.5RS and I would like to gouge a chunk of 0-60 time off of it, and Im thinking the best way would be turbo charger. does anyone know who might have such a thing for this car? and if anyone knows of a site that might tell me what I would need to do such a thing? it would be much appriciated

plan to do a lot of research and search for a turbo that best suits your needs. i have a 2001 RS and as of right now the Ludespeed Stage III kit is #1 on my list. Things can change between now and when i finally have enough $$, but financially im halfway there and soon i plan to be fast and somewhere in the 13s.

Remember to be careful when turbo charging a N/A engine, these engines were not meant to be turbo charged. You may have to fortify the engine a little before slapping a turbo on it. Trust me I have seen it happen, too much boost at the wrong time and it will leave you with a headache you'll wish you never had. Talk to the turbo kit manufacturer first and find out what they recomend before putting the turbo on there. If you run a fairly low boost you SHOULD be alright, but talk to one of the techs first.

I would look for a Minnam turbo kit. I had one and it was great. It was best fitting kit I have seen come out. They owners of Minnam split up and they stopped making the kit, but should be able to find one used on the board. Great kit looks and fits much better from the newer kits. You should be able to run 10psi without any engine mods. I ran 22psi without and motor mods, but I also had a 99
my 2 cents,

22 psi wihout engine mods?
Well, it canbe done but not for long before things go up in smoke
even 10 p.si. is too much to run consistently, as much as all of us would like to believe to the contrary...

ren is right. There's a reason nobody is selling kits for the EJ25 that make more than 6 psi. Any more than that takes INCREDIBLY good tuning, and more than a little luck to do regularly. Of course, my plan is to buy said 6 psi kit, tweak it to 9-10 pounds, run it, break isht, and THEN fix it with forgies.
