2.5 turbo conversion

2.5 turbo conversion

I was wondering if the wrx crossmember would be interchangeable with my 01 2.5rs. I was told from several people that they heard it would work. Could anyone offer any info on this before i embark on this journey.

It works, but you need to use some spacers for the control arms I believe. The Legacy Turbo crossmember from 90-93 Legacy turbos is actually the crossmember that fits perfect.

i appreciate the info. What area has to be shimmed, if you could please give me a visual on what has to be done. Also what would you use to shim the control arms. thanks, Derek

Do you mean the transmission crossmember?

i dont have any pick right now but if you look at your control arm there is only one busing that goes to the crossmember i went to lowes and bought some washers one on each side was good to go
