2.2 low compression pistons
Plenty available, all custom made. All you have to do is look for them..........
As a matter of fact, here's a thread about the same subject:

CUSTOM PISTONS= MORE $$$.
All the rain in Washington must have warped your brain. You actually think I'm stupid enough not to know that custom pistons can be made?
Next time, 555 just don't answer my questions unless you have something to contribute that serves some other purpose than trying to prove how smart you are.
For anyone else who might be interested in this setup, DYNOFLO sells the following kit for $900 delivered:
JE forged 8:1 2.2 pistons
Eagle forged H rods
wrist pins
bearings
rings
Not a bad price, I think

So instead of asking "Where's a good place to order low compression 2.2 pistons?" You should have asked "Where's a good place to order low compression 2.2 pistons that are inexpensive?"
You chose your words, i answered your question. Looks like after reading my response, you did the smart thing and used the damn search engines available to you.
Congrats on finding that kit. Looks good, eagle rods are very sturdy.

Well, search engines are good for finding everything, and i-club's good for getting opinions and narrowing down your search. I know how to use search engines, and I'm not looking for a bunch of links to online stores... Just opinions from those who've been there, done that.
But thanks just the same, you answer more of my posts now than before, so I guess all I need to do is insult you to get a response, eh 555?
Truce?

No need for truce, there's no battle my friend. You ask a question, I'll give you a response.
As for links to online stories.. Wouldn't you say those stories are, as you say "Just opinions from those who've been there, done that?" I sure would.
Go for it, insult me. I'm e-thuggin fo life, yo!

Hello just a minor search got me a little of us very interesting. hopefully the 2.2 pistons will soon become a shelf stocking item then it'll be great for everyone. the word is in for those hopefully soon! but for now we'll keep JE and Arias alive with EJ20 and EJ25 parts

I just got my Ross Racing pistons yesterday. They were custom made oversized to fit my 2.2 Legacy Turbo short block.
They are forged and @ 8.5:1 compression.
I paid a little under $600 for all 4 WITH total seal rings.
(So I don't know what you all are scared about in $$$ when anyone mentions the word CUSTOM)

I've been talking with some guys at JE trying to get the 2.2 as a shelf stocking piston because the only difference found so far is the larger bore. please correct me if i'm wrong. They told me to make a shelf stocking part number there will need to be 25 sets purchased at the same time to get it down to a better price. this is the right place to find enough people it's just getting everyone at the same time.i'm sure Arias is the same way. i'll give the killer price if you guy's can get together and make the jump. soon as alex get's finished establishing me as a vendor here.
