I'm trying to get some rims in, but the cheapest rate I can get is ~$400 from the major carriers. Last time I bought some rims it was only $150 shipping. Anyway I figured I would ask before biting the bullet on the shipping.

united states postal service. some companies won't use anyone else but UPS.
i suggest asking that particular company to use a cheaper form of shipping. personally i like UPS because they have a excellent reputation(and tracking system) and least IMO.

UPS is now offering ground shipping to Hawaii. However, many retailers will probably be slow on implenenting it, cause we are not their priority. Who knows how long it will take to get here.
