I purchased a 94 WRX JDM clip complete. I'm wondering if anyone knows how easy this swap is i.e. axle lengths, tranny splines, motor mounts, and most important the wiring harness. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan

all of the engine and drivetrain will bolt in with no problem but if you didnt get a rear diff make sure the ratios are the same and use the legacy drive shaft because i think it is longer than the wrx

but the wiring harness is the longest part of the swap

because you have two options
1. make a hybrid harness and hope there are no problems
2. swap the full harness

option 2 is the best but you have the take the dash and alot the the front interior apart

go go go

you might be able to plug'nplay the ecu if you are lucky, cuz the year is pretty close.
if it plug'nplays, all you need is add few wires for the boost control. no need to make harness.
mechanically, it should be easy since you got the clip.
just make sure your final is compatible like kay95 says.

the 94 WRX and the 93-96 1.8 impreza would be a close match but i think your 95 legacy is obd2 and all WRX and STI from japan are obd1 til 2000 or 2001

but if they plug in that would mean alot less work
