what are the pros and cons of twin turbo? has anyone tried it in a sti or wrx? whats the potential? also what is the most powerful turbo to put into the sti for most horsepower? thanks

 

twin turbo = fast spool nice low end power. Top is usually not as good as one bigger single turbo. One big turbo will take more spool time but make more high end power in the end.

 

You also get better throttle response on a good twin turbo setup. Wouldn't be very good on a four cylinder. Not very efficient. Even some V6's, it isn't that great. There are guys with the twin turbo S4's that go to a single turbo setup...more power potential as MwGSR said.
