Moonman 10-04-2004, 04:12 PM Question for Adam at LIC (or anyone else who might know). I am looking to buy an EJ25 from a 2001 Impreza RS to put into my Vanagon. The guy is planning on using his wiring harness for his WRX conversion, so I will need to get a wiring harness elsewhere. Do you know what other years/cars will have a compatible wiring harness as a 2001 RS? Thanks, Mike http://vanagonproject.page.us LICmotorsports 10-11-2004, 12:37 PM Mike, You will need to use a MY00 and up harness and ECU due to the MAP sensor equipped motor. MY99 and down use a MAF sensor so they wont work. I may have a MY00 harness around here somewhere in a box, but it will be cut-up since it was removed for a conversion. But on the bright side, it will only be from the ECU to the motor, which is all you really need. Hope this helps, let me know if you're interested in anything. -Adam adam@licmotorsports.com |
