Has anyone heard of SPEC clutchs? They have 5 stages and i was thinking about a stage 1 (orgainic)or 2 (kevlar). they seem to be priced pretty good, i just don't know anything about them. My car is mod a lot, just about every bolt on. i'll be putting it with a XACT Prolite flywheel but i'm still looking.

I've used them in Mustangs - but never in a Suby. They are FANTASTIC in a high-horsepower drag-raced Mustang. Street manners were uncompromised and pedal effort seemed to be equal to a Centerfoce Dual Friction.
Sorry I don't have any Suby-specific experience. :(

Thankyou very much for your reply and i think that i'm going to get a stage 2. Since the guys at SPEC said that it would last longer.

I have a couple of questions for you. Did you break in the clutch w/ 500mi of city driving? What flywheel are you using? And last but not least how do you lunch your car? I would really like to know these answers so that i can choose this clutch or something else. Thanks for your time.

Exedy Sport Clutch.....
This company makes great clutches, I believe that the factory clutch in the WRX is made by Daiken/Exedy...
I have 228 whp & 232tq. as tested on a dynojet,
I am running the factory clutch still, but our tuner had about 280 whp on a Greddy 18G, using the Exedy Sport Clutch.
It was a very nice clutch....
the shop i work at carries them in abundance, they are very good clutches....
Sorry to ramble, just wanna help...
