Has anybody done a rebuild on the 5 speed tranny for an 02-03 wrx? How strong are they? I have heard talk about the tranny case breaking, but i do not know. Please if anyone has info, share!

Is that $2600 installed in the car? If so, how much for a 5MT with the RA gearset in it - NOT installed in the vehicle?

Still a great deal at $2600 for the unit even if not installed... Hmmm. I wonder how much a trans. (and the core going back to you) would cost in shipping to Hawaii... :devil:

my 3rd gear is destroyed, and how much whp can those trannys hold? i need a tranny that can hold 400whp.

well the rally car has these gear sets on them and so far it is intact.. (placed second for the season)...

RA gears are tough but not indestructable. This includes the correct speedo gear with it.
