I have had this TMIC for about a year. I personally only used it for 2k, dunno about miles before that....I am second owner. It fit great on my 06 WRX...no fitment issues, as long as you are patient.

This is a Bar and Plate intercooler. They are said to have less pressure loss than the standard tube and fin design. Please research for any other info.

Fins are in great shape. Minimal oil residue inside the intercooler. I have cleaned it out with toulene a few times, so it should be pretty clean. I didn't really bother cleaning it up beyond that.

Known Issues:

Broken cast elbow...the elbows where y-pipe meets intercooler. It uses the WRX style y-pipe, so all u have to do is swap yours over. This one is intact, but it is JB welded together and I would not trust it. Would give you my stock one, but it is broken too :( The gasket you see is a Remflex gasket.

One of the BPV mount holes was partially stripped. I chased the threads and the bolts hold fine.

Y-pipe included is an ebay type. It is flexible silicone. Has a small wear area, filled with silicone. It is wrapped to protect from further wear.

Has a worn area where intercooler was rubbing against the hood due to misalignment. No issues from this.
