Question upgrade turbo

how many of you guys upgraded your turbo?if so to what turbo!!!
i just wanted to know if you guy ever baby the turbo till the break in period 500 miles....or how many miles till you took it to the tracks?

alot of wrxs opt with the vf34 turbo.. thats what i got. baby the turbo? yes, it is highly recommended.. 500 miles should be good.

TEC 18G yes, break it in, i was told go easy for first 500 or so, that doesnt mean drive around the island 4 times, you need to get it hot, let it cool down, etc., "break it in" .......my .02

VF30 to an FP Green.

Like de Phil, my vf30 was used so no break-in, trax immediately. FP was broken in correctly, trax only once or twice following break-in.

any type of moving part...allow a good break in period...what ever you feel is right, but 500 miles is good, also, very important, tuning (accessport, utec, wutevers)...good luck

the turbo kit i would like to get is the one a friend has....hehe....but i think i'll have to settle for the vf34 when the time comes...(almost there)

dont waste your money y0!youll get faster spool no top end gain id save up and go for the deadbolt super16g or maybe even 18

I couldn't imagine the extra horsepower from a new turbo.
Dang, how much can one get with a Stage 1 turbo upgrade?
